Took a vehicle here once and they did a great job. BUT the last three basic quotes I’ve called them about, they have been 80-110% more expensive. I wish I could continue going there, simply for local convenience, but I’ve switched to Family Wrench in Independence for half the cost and the same great service.
Colin, Sorry to see you go. We only use quality parts that carry the industry best warranty. We hire the best techs in the area and pay them a very fair wage with outstanding benefits and retirement plan that most shops do not have. Liberty also has more overhead then Independence when it comes to running a business. When we quote over the phone it is using quality parts. We can quote less quality parts but we have nothing but problems with these parts and cant get them warrantied if needed. When this happens we have to tell the customer we used a crap part and now you'll have to pay for that repair again because the part house will not warranty these parts. We try our very hardest to be competitive with the Liberty market. We are not he cheapest shop in the greater KC metro area but we are one of them in Liberty. Independence has a plethora of shops cheaper then we are. We understand your discussion to leave and respect that. Thank you for the review and giving me a chance to explain.
