We were on our way from Iowa to New Mexico and the electronics in our 2003 GMC Yukon went bad just off I-35. We were towed to Liberty Car Care by the tow truck driver. Upon arrival midafternoon we were greeted by Steve and let him know our situation and our hope to be in New Mexico the next day..... and he smiled like "good luck with that"! But he and his staff immediately started diagnosing the problem! Determined I had a bad cell in the battery, requested a battery to be delivered and within an hour they had the vehicle running. Upon further investigation, it was determined the alternator was bad, so another order and installation and we were good to go! From the time we broke down at 1:30 we were on the road at 4:30, three hours later and that included the tow! Another road angel saved our trip! Thanks Steve and staff!
Doug, We wanted to take the time and thank you for sharing your experience. Steve is excellent to work with and takes pride in his work. He tries everything in his powers to help when and where he can. We are so happy to hear we could help when you were put in bad situation. I first hand know how stressful it is to break down on a road trip. Last year my family was stuck in Florida with a blown up engine in our motorhome the day before my twins birthday and the night we were suppose to check in at Disney.
